Apollo Crews made his return to the NXT brand on last night’s (June 7) episode of NXT 2.0, where he stated his intentions to capture the NXT Championship.
Apollo then wrestled in the main event, where he teamed with Solo Sikoa to defeat Carmelo Hayes and Grayson Waller. This move isn’t just for one angle or storyline.
Per PWInsider, Apollo Crews has been internally moved to the NXT roster following last night’s appearance, meaning the brand will be his home going forward.
As for Apollo’s former tag team partner Commander Azeez (Babatunde Aiyegbusi), PWInsider also notes that he has been moved over the NXT roster as well as Crews, though Crews appeared on the show without him, so it’s not known if they will remain aligned.
