With Cody Rhodes departing All Elite Wrestling this week, contract season has begun for the company, with many of their earliest signed contracts expiring over the next few months.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on one of those deals, that of inaugural AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. Per Fightful, we won’t see Jericho departing AEW any time soon.
Fightful was told that there are ‘roughly 2 years’ remaining on Jericho’s AEW deal, meaning he is signed through to 2024.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jericho had signed a two year extension in early 2020, which would appear to be the case.
