
An update on backstage heat between top WWE stars Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens after their Survivor Series WarGames match.
After earlier reports had noted some displeasure emanating from Roman Reigns backstage after the match, now an update from Dave Meltzer.
In the Wrestling Observer daily update, Meltzer clarified what he had been informed of regarding the situation.
On the topic, Meltzer notes that the story is accurate in that Reigns was upset after a slap from Owens during the match with noticeable bruising under his left eye.
However according to the report, while Reigns may have been upset initially however, “20 minutes later it had all blown over so there is no lingering issue regarding it.”
The Survivor Series WarGames premium live event was noted to be highly successful.
It included the massive main event of the men’s WarGames match, featuring the aforementioned Roman Reigns and the Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jimmy and Jey Uso with Sami Zayn) took on Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre and the Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland and Butch).
