Backstage Update On Mia Yim’s New WWE Ring Name WWE

There is a new backstage update on Mia Yim’s new WWE ring name.

On the November 14 edition of Raw, Mia Yim made her in-ring return in a win over Tamina. However, there was much more to be seen from the returning star.

Ahead of her matchup, Yim took part in a backstage segment with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of The O.C. where they referred to Mia as “Michin”.

Yim explained that the nickname means “crazy” in Korean and Bianca Belair would later refer to her by the name.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on the name, noting that Mia Yim will still be referred using her traditional ring name but the nickname, “Michin”, will also be used to describe her.

Later on the Raw episode, Mia Yim was approached by Damage CTRL to join their War Games team at Survivor Series.

However, Yim joined Team Belair with Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

Bayley’s team added The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley to join Nikki Cross as well as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.

The bout will be one of two War Games matches to take place at Survivor Series on November 26.
