An update has been provided regarding the relationship between AEW and IMPACT following the Sammy Guevara dispute.
In case you haven’t seen, Sammy Guevara was slated to work a short storyline at the latest IMPACT tapings but voiced his displeasure about the creative direction and ended up getting pulled.
It was then said that AEW management was not happy with Guevara and felt he may have somewhat jeopardised the relationship. You can read the full original story at this link.
In an update, PWInsider is reporting that the relationship between the two promotions is “golden” and there are no problems where that is concerned according to IMPACT sources.
The report notes that most of what was planned for Guevara was done at the tapings by Black Taurus instead.
