Despite Cody Rhodes being expected to sign with WWE, it is looking more and more like Brandi Rhodes will not be joining her husband.
Sports Illustrated reported that Brandi wasn’t expected to be signed by WWE, but wanted to continue wrestling. Now there is a further update on what’s next for Rhodes.
According to Fightful Select, Brandi Rhodes plans on continuing to pursue an in-ring wrestling career. She was even spotted training at the Nightmare Factory this week.
It was also noted that “A Shot of Brandi” is actively being pitched and shopped. Brandi will retain the rights to her YouTube show that had been featured on AEW’s YouTube channel.
Fightful also reported that as of Thursday, the Rhodes To The Top reality show had not been cancelled and there are still ongoing discussions regarding the future.
As previously noted, Cody Rhodes could be starting with WWE as soon as this weekend to film vignettes for his WWE return.
We will have further updates on Cody and Brandi Rhodes when they become available.
