Update On Braun Strowman Injury

Braun Strowman was written off TV in November to undergo surgery on a bone spur on his elbow. The injury and recovery time meant he was unable to take bumps at TLC, meaning he needed a whole lot of help to defeat Baron Corbin.

Having won, it was confirmed that he will once again take on Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble at the end of January.

During his appearance at TLC, Strowman wore a sling, which, necessary or not, illustrated that he’s far from making a return to in-ring action.

He didn’t appear on the post-TLC episode of Raw, but on the pre-taped episode of the Christmas Eve Raw, he did, confronting Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman.

The main thing of note with this, other than the fact that Heyman was forced to wear antlers, was that Strowman did not wear a sling, suggesting that although he may still not be cleared for wrestling, his arm is healing well.

He is not expected to return to the ring until his match at Royal Rumble to ensure that he has enough time to heal.

Strowman last faced Brock at Crown Jewel on November 2, a match that he lost in about three minutes. He’ll be hoping to improve for this next scuffle.
