This week on SmackDown, Jey Uso fully aligned with Roman Reigns after turning heel following a brutal attack on Daniel Bryan. The attack saw Jey Uso send Bryan through the announce table with a splash from the top rope.
The spot saw Jey Uso catch his midsection on the edge of the table, leading many fans to worry that the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion may have unfortunately picked up an injury.
Thankfully, Fightful Select is reporting that Jey Uso is doing okay following the spot on Friday’s episode of SmackDown. He is not believed to have suffered any kind of injury in his beatdown of Daniel Bryan that closed out the show.
Jey Uso joined former Universal Champion Kevin Owens as representatives for the men’s SmackDown team for the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view later this month. To qualify, Kevin Owens beat Dolph Ziggler.
Speaking of injuries, WWE has announced a major injury (certainly kayfabe) to a SmackDown star following this week’s post-Hell in a Cell show. You can read more about the injury and WWE’s report by clicking here.
