Update On Late Changes To WWE Raw After WrestleMania 39

Update On Late Changes To WWE Raw After WrestleMania 39 WWE

According to one report, there have already been multiple last minute changes to tonight’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania 39 (April 3).

Per an earlier tweet from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful:

“This show is categorically different than how it was laid out even a few hours ago. At least two matches scrapped or changed”

Now with more, Sapp wrote:

“Originally tonight was supposed to feature a couple of triple threat matches that would serve as a tournament for a Raw Women’s Title shot. They were scrapped very late in favor of the tag title contender match”

As noted, there was instead a tag team qualifier to see who would face Lita and Becky Lynch next week on WWE for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The match was won by the team of Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan who will face Lynch and Lita next week on WWE Raw.

Interestingly in the match they were set to take on Damage CTRL and despite being there and being previously planned for the entrance, Bayley was pulled from tonight’s show as well according to reports.

In another reported change, the segment featuring Rey Mysterio was set to see Bad Bunny inducted into the LWO, with WRKD Wrestling tweeting that the spot might still occur.

They have produced Puerto Rico flag themed LWO t-shirts, pictured in a tweet below.

Earlier on tonight’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania 39, Triple H opened the show with a passionate message for fans of WWE.
