Update On Luke Harper’s In-Ring Return

Update On Luke Harper’s In-Ring Return

When Rowan returned to side with Daniel Bryan alone at the Royal Rumble, many began to wonder when we would be seeing his former tag partner Harper. The former Wyatt Family member is currently out with a wrist injury having undergone surgery in November last year.

There is currently no word yet on when the big man will return to TV but PWInsider have stated that Harper is back at the Performance Center this week. If he is back in training, one would assume he is closing in on being fully cleared for competition.

Rowan & Harper returned as the Bludgeon Brothers and took the SmackDown Live tag division by storm in the early half of 2018. The duo decimated their competition and picked up the tag titles with ease at WrestleMania 34, beating out both the New Day and then-champions the Usos in a triple threat tag match.

During a title defense at SummerSlam, however, Rowan tore his bicep mid-match. Despite still retaining due to a disqualification, however, the pair would drop the championships to the New Day in a rematch two days later on SmackDown Live. Following this, Rowan was sidelined with an injury and removed from TV, taking Harper with him.

It was later revealed that Harper was also suffering from an injury when a picture surfaced of him with his wrist in a cast at a comedy show in November. With his return now imminent, many are beginning to wonder if he will reunite with Rowan and join forces with Bryan in the near future.

It is also worth noting that the leader of the Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, is also cleared for action. Is a new faction involving all four mean might be on the horizon? Bryan did join the group back in 2013 for a short time. The story is there.
