A new update has been revealed on the plans for Matt Hardy at this weekend’s AAA TripleMania event.
Jeff Hardy has been in the headlines after his unfortunate arrest following DUI charges in Florida on Monday. AEW has since suspended Hardy without pay and removed The Hardys from this week’s Dynamite where they were scheduled for the AEW World Tag Team Title Ladder Match.
The Hardys were also scheduled to face Dralistico and Dragon Lee at this Saturday’s AAA TripleMania XXX in Tijuana, Mexico.
General Director of AAA Dorian Roldán announced that Matt Hardy is still scheduled to appear the event on June 18.
An opponent for Hardy hasn’t been announced yet, but more announcements regarding the show are expected soon.
Matt has recently commented on accusations of him drinking with his brother, which you can read here.
