With NXT Takeover 36 taking place on August 22, the night after SummerSlam, many people were wondering if NXT Takeover would be taking place in Las Vegas as well.
Per Dave Meltzer in this week’s Wrestling Observer, NXT officials have definitely spoken about moving Takeover to Las Vegas and running a major arena, with the idea being that many fans will already be in Vegas for SummerSlam.
With no official announcement and so little time left, those within NXT aew under the impression that the show will eminate from the Performance Center in Orlando.
An issue that comes up is that key officials in NXT have to travel to Vegas the week prior as part of the tryout camp.
