Here’s the latest update regarding the ongoing Sonya Deville attempted kidnapping case, with a new hearing date being set for November.
As per PWInsider, there is a hearing set for November 12 at the Hillsborough County Court in Tampa regarding the temporary injunction Deville filed.
Deville filed the injunction against the accused Phillip Thomas II to prevent him from approaching or contacting her or her family after he allegedly broke into her house armed with intent to harm on August 16.
As of now, the injunction is active until the hearing date on November 12.
Thomas remains in incarceration after he was denied a $2 million bail as the judge deemed him a threat to the community. He is charged with Aggravated Stalking, Armed Burglary of a Dwelling, Attempted Kidnapping and Criminal Mischief.
Sonya Deville lost a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match at SummerSlam on August 23 to take time away from the company. The match was originally slated to be a ‘hair vs hair’ match which she would lose and cut her hair for an acting role, but her lawyer advised her against doing that during an ongoing court case.
