Over the last two weeks on Monday Night Raw, former 205 Live star Humberto Carrillo has been involved in segments with new United States Champion Sheamus.
The segment on last night’s show saw Humberto Carrillo attack the former WWE Champion. Despite not being used for months, Carrillo ended the segment by standing tall over the Irishman.
Speaking on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE may be about to start using Humberto Carrillo. This is despite reports suggesting that Vince McMahon saw nothing in him:
“So this may be the start of a program and this may be the start of them doing something with Humberto Carrillo after doing nothing with him for a long period of time.”
Despite WWE potentially reigniting their interest in Humberto Carrillo, Dave Meltzer noted that this storyline is likely to lead to Sheamus pinning the former Cruiserweight:
“They’re either gonna do the match next week where he’ll lose or they’ll save it for the pay-per-view where he’ll probably lose.”
