Ring of Honor star Marty Scurll has not been seen in the promotion since allegations about him came out during the Speaking Out movement. Now, there is an update regarding his status with the company.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is currently reporting that Scurll is once again not on hand for ROH’s Final Battle tapings. The show is set to be the promotion’s biggest show of the year. The report states that Scurll is currently in Florida and thus not in Baltimore for the tapings.
Prior to the pandemic, Scurll was set to headline ROH’s Supercard of Honor event over WrestleMania weekend against Jay White. Of course, that never happened.
In June, Scurll was accused of having a sexual encounter with a 16-year old girl several years ago. He has since denied any wrongdoing on his part.
Since then, reports have stated that Scurll has not been involved in the booking of ROH and the company did not have plans for him to return.
