According to a report from Fightful Select (subscription required), Vince McMahon is back in-person at WWE SmackDown. Vince had missed several shows due to the passing of his brother Rod.
Fightful notes Vince wasn’t very involved in the investor’s call on Thursday. While he hasn’t been at the show in person, he has still been heavily involved in the running of the shows.
Now, he’s back in person. As someone who does live results of SmackDown almost weekly, we haven’t had an episode of SmackDown in a while where WWE.com hadn’t posted the show’s preview until minutes before the show.
In the past, this is usually followed by reports Vince had caused chaos with last minute changes. Of course, that’s all speculation for tonight.
However, we wish Vince condolences for the passing of his brother.
