A lot of news has come out recently regarding how networks feel about WWE taping their product. USA and Fox reportedly require WWE’s content to be produced live, which has caused the cutback of taped content. Now, we have an idea of what TNT thinks about AEW Dynamite.
When asked on Twitter, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned that “all indications are that TNT is fine with how things are being done.”

All Elite Wrestling has currently taped upcoming episodes of Dynamite through May 22. They moved their production from Florida to Georgia in March and has been airing taped content since.
WWE has come under fire recently due to their choice to continue gathering to film. This decision came after Roman Reigns decided to pull out of WrestleMania to stay safe and an on-screen personality tested positive for COVID-19.
AEW made the announcement today that Double or Nothing will air live on pay per view from a closed set. Presumably, this will be the first time the promotion will reconvene to film new content. The only match announced for the show is the final match in the TNT Championship tournament.
