Update On WWE ‘All Hands On Deck’ Meeting Following Vince McMahon Return WWE

There is an update on WWE’s “all hands on deck” meeting following Vince McMahon returning to join the Board of Directors.

As previously reported, Vince McMahon has returned to WWE on the Board of Directors to help facilitate a sale of the company.

Following this bombshell news, WWE scheduled an “all hands on deck” meeting with all of their employees for today (January 6).

Per Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, the management team of Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan and Frank Riddick led the meeting and stressed that the day-to-day is not changing across the board.

They spoke about Vince McMahon being the controlling shareholder, the possibility of a sale and the upcoming media rights deal.

During the meeting, it was noted that the WWE sale could be a huge positive for the company and that they would be looking at potential sale offers before negotiating the rights fees.

The management team did stress that Vince McMahon will have a final say. They said a sale might not happen, and the company could be taken private if there’s a sale.

WrestleVotes also chimed in on what they heard about today’s “all hands on deck” meeting. They tweeted:

“Sources states the all employee WWE meeting has concluded, with nothing of note taking place. Meeting was conducted by Stephanie, Nick Khan & Frank Riddick…. “Business as usual” was the message.”
