An update has emerged on WWE booking plans for Lacey Evans, following her return to TV on WWE SmackDown.
Since the April 8 episode, vignettes of Lacey Evans emotionally telling her story have aired each week, with Evans finally making her live return on last week’s episode of SmackDown.
Evans was introduced by Samantha Irvin, who demanded that fans show the WWE star the respect she deserves. While Evans did enter to a mostly positive response, many fans questioned the odd, almost heelish choice of words for her introduction.
Per PWInsider, Lacey Evans will work as a heel moving forward. The report also revealed that Evans has now been moved to the Raw roster.
Evans hasn’t wrestled since announcing her pregnancy on the February 15, 2021 edition of Raw. She gave birth that October, and didn’t appear on WWE TV until her vignettes began airing last month.
