WWE fans were shocked when Christian made his return to the ring in the Royal Rumble. Aside from a ten-second match in 2020, this was his first real in-ring action since 2014. However, he is still waiting for the call regarding his future.
During his appearance on The Bump, Christian revealed that a decision has not been made about him returning to TV. Here is the quote, courtesy of Wrestling Inc.:
“No decisions have been made. I’m not sure at this point. We’ll just take it day-by-day at this point.”
This is curious as Carlito also returned at the Royal Rumble after over ten years away from the company and he appeared on Raw the next day.
One would think WWE is keeping Christian off television until they have a plan in mind for him. Given his history with Edge, there is a ton of possibilities for storylines involving the two.
