Big Update On Debut Show For US Based Joshi Women’s Wrestling Promotion WWE

A big update has emerged on the debut show for Sukeban, the new US-based Joshi women’s wrestling promotion.

Following months of reports about the formation of this unique company, Sukeban officially announced its debut event for September 21 in New York City.

While the event is unique, it is definitely niche, being the first Japanese women’s wrestling promotion to operate out of the US.

Because of this, many were unsure about how much of a demand there would be for tickets to the first show.

PWInsider now reports that the event at the Capitale sold out in just two hours.

The report noted that the promotion is looking to find out whether they’ll be able to accommodate more fans for the show, after being ‘taken aback’ by the demand for tickets.

The announcement of the new promotion came with an initial roster reveal, with four factions confirmed for the promotion.
