An update has emerged on the timeslot change for this Friday’s (May 27) edition of AEW Rampage, ahead of Double or Nothing on Sunday.
Recent episodes of Rampage have aired in different time slots due to TNT’s coverage of NBA and NHL playoffs.
Per Dave Meltzer, Rampage will air at either 6:30pm ET (3:30pm PT), or during its regular time slot of 10pm EST, depending on whether there is a Colorado vs St Louis NHL game.
Meltzer noted that Rampage will be taped at 3:30pm PT on the Friday in Las Vegas, so if there is a game, Rampage will air live, but if there isn’t, it will air later that day:
Update on Rampage Friday after tonight’s game. Rampage will either air 6:30 p.m. Friday/3:30 p.m. Pacific if there is a Colorado vs. St. Louis game. If that series is over, Rampage will air at 10 p.m., regular time slot. In Vegas, show will start at 3 p.m. local time.
In Vegas, Rampage will be taped about 3:30 p.m. Friday after 30 minutes of bouts taped for streaming. If there is a St. Louis-Colorado game, Rampage will be live. If no hockey game, Rampage will be taped 3 1/2 hours before it airs.
AEW previously announced a 5:30pm EST start-time, which Meltzer has stated is dependent on NHL playoffs.
We will provide updates as they become available.
