Update On Triple H Potentially Scrapping WWE PPV WWE

An update has emerged on Triple H potentially scrapping a WWE PPV.

Since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took over creative duties, WWE has undergone many changes which seem to be popular with audiences and the locker room.

As part of the new regime, WWE’s premium live event schedule has seemingly been under review.

Previously it was reported that Triple H plans to cancel the Hell in a Cell premium live event.

Hell in a Cell matches will happen when they fit Levesque’s booking instead of being confined to the annual event.

An update has now emerged on Triple H’s plans to potentially scrap another WWE premium live event, Money in the Bank.

Recently, a rumor suggested that the Money in the Bank event would be removed from the WWE schedule.

Instead, the matches (if there continued to be one for the male and one for the female division) would be moved to WrestleMania.

Fightful Select (subscription required), put the rumor to several members of WWE creatives and higher-ups.

The sources responded by saying that while it is not impossible, the idea had not come across their desks as of yet.

So watch this space.

In other Money in the Bank news, a rumor killer recently emerged concerning speculation over the 2023 winner.

The 2022 men’s Money in the Bank winner, Austin Theory, recently failed in his attempt to cash in against Seth Rollins for the United States Championship.
