We already have a WWE Hall of Famer as President right now in the form of Donald Trump, but last week a former WWE star stated his intention to run for office as well. Just last week, Jesse Ventura announced that he is intending to run for office later this year.
Unlike Trump, Ventura was actually an in-ring performer for WWE, so it would have been pretty surreal to see a former WWE wrestler and commentator with arguably the most significant and important job in the world.
However, Bill Cimbrelo shared on Twitter earlier on this morning that Mr. Ventura will not be running for President as a member of the Green Party. The reason for the change of plans are not yet known, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on that.

While Ventura has not confirmed the news himself, Bill Cimberlo shared on Twitter that he heard the news from the person that would have been the manager of Jesse’s Presidential election campaign.
