Update On WWE Pay For Male & Female Talent

Update On WWE Pay For Male & Female Talent WWE

Many of WWE’s top stars over the past few years have come from the company’s women’s division, with several WrestleMania main events being contested by the women’s division.

WWE recently opened up various new avenues to recruiting talent to the WWE Performance Center, including the NIL program and tryouts at major Premium Live Events.

When speaking about talent development and recruitment at the JPMorgan Global TMT Teleconference, WWE CEO Nick Khan put over the company’s pay.

Specifically, Khan touted that WWE ‘pay our women as well as we do our men’.

The women’s division of NXT is often presented in similar fashion to it’s men’s division, with the show featuring an almost even balance between male and female talent every week.

Beyond just NXT, some of WWE’s women’s stars, such as Becky Lynch, have signed ‘top guy’ level contracts in recent years.

The card for WWE Night of Champions 2023 on Saturday, May 27 is as follows:

World Heavyweight Championship – Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. AJ Styles

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship – Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (c) vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa

Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka

SmackDown Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Natalya

Intercontinental Championship – Gunther (c) vs. Mustafa Ali

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
