WWE has updated its TV tapings schedule for the coming week after the tapings this weekend had to be reshuffled due to COVID-19.
WWE was initially set to tape two episodes each of Raw and SmackDown this weekend. Instead, one SmackDown was taped on Friday (June 26, aired the same day) and one episode of Raw was set to be taped yesterday (June 27, to air June 29).
As such, POST Wrestling has revealed the schedule for next week is now as follows:
Wednesday, July 1 – Two episodes of NXT will be taped to air July 1 (later that night) and July 8, which are the Great American Bash episodes
Thursday, July 2 – Two episodes of SmackDown will be taped to air on July 3 and July 10 and taping 205 Live.
Friday, July 3 – Two episodes of Raw will be taped airing on July 6 and July 13 as well as tapings of Main Event & Raw Talk.
Dave Meltzer has also confirmed the above schedule as being accurate, but of course with the way things are going there’s still a possibility it could change.
Numbers in the region of 30 have been rumoured as to how many people in WWE have tested positive for COVID-19, but there are also reports suggesting it could be a lot worse than that.
