Update: More details have come to light which you can read about at this link.
There have been a number of updates following The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) removing all content from their YouTube channel.
As previously reported, NWA have removed all videos from YouTube, including Powerrr and Shockwave content. There hasn’t been an official explanation given by NWA themselves, but some have shared what they know on the matter.
NWA ring announcer David Marquez has revealed that he knows very little about this situation. Marquez took to Twitter to request that fans stop coming to him for answers.
Explaining that he’s also in the dark, Marquez tweeted:
“Friends, I don’t know what’s going on with the NWA YouTube page, please stop asking. Thank you.”
According to Dave Meltzer, we should learn more about this situation soon. Reporting to the F4WOnline forum, Meltzer revealed that there will be an announcement from the promotion within the next few days.
Assuring fans that the announcement had nothing to do with AEW, Meltzer wrote:
“I was told it will be something announced in the next few days which is a good thing. Would not have to do with AEW.”
We will keep you updated as any information becomes available.
