US Title Match To Get ‘Plenty Of Time’ On WWE Raw

On the September 19 edition of WWE Raw, Bobby Lashley will defend his United States Championship against Seth Rollins.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), as of Sunday, plans called for this match to get ‘plenty of time’ on air.

Bobby Lashley defeated Theory for the gold at the Money in the Bank premium live event on July 2. He last defended the gold on WWE TV against The Miz on the September 5 edition of Raw.

Also previously announced for the show was a singles match between Kevin Owens and Austin Theory. Owens was recently officially moved to the babyface side of the roster.

Per Fightful, other segments planned for the show include a Damage CTRL Women’s Tag Team Championship celebration , and a Miz TV segment

WWE is currently building to Extreme Rules on October 28. Triple H has made some big announcements about the premium live events that will follow, with Logan Paul set to challenge for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Title at Crown Jewel on November 5, and the November 26 Survivor Series show to feature WarGames matches.
