USA Network Reaction To Recent NXT 2.0 TV Ratings

The reaction of USA Network to NXT 2.0 viewership in recent weeks has been revealed.

NXT 2.0 viewership has been fairly consistent over the last month, with three of the last four episodes drawing over 600,000 viewers.

Per Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, USA Network seem happy with these numbers, with a network source telling Zarian that USA is content with viewership in the ‘six-somethings’.

Zarian noted:

“They’re doing good in the ratings. 620,000ish, they’re not doing terrible. USA Network is happy with this. I had a conversation with someone on Tuesday from USA and they’re like, ‘Yeah, we’re fine with the six-somethings,’ because listen, even with that slammed roster with like NXT being NXT they were doing the 700,000s. USA doesn’t care if there’s some WWE guys there, they just want ratings,” Zarian said.

The developmental brand is currently building towards NXT Stand & Deliver, which will air on April 2, before WrestleMania 38. At the event, Bron Breakker will challenge Dolph Ziggler for the NXT Championship.

WWE recently unveiled their latest class of Performance Center recruits, which included several independent names, such as former ROH Women’s Champion Rok-C.
