The new holder of a vacant WWE championship has been crowned during tonight’s November 25 episode of NXT on the CW Network.
A few weeks ago on NXT, Sol Ruca vacated the WWE Speed Women’s Championship due to injury.
Ruca had the option to have Zaria defend the title in her place – but after Zaria did that for the NXT Women’s North American Title and failed – Ruca opted to just vacate.
Zaria did, however, enter the tournament to crown the new champion, and made it to the final against Fallon Henley, which aired tonight after being taped at The Theater in Madison Square Garden last week along with the rest of Gold Rush night two after night one finished last week.
Zaria defeated Wren Sinclair in the semi-final round to advance to the final, while Henley beat Skylar Raye.
In tonight’s tournament final to decide the new titleholder, it was Henley who picked up the win against Zaria to become WWE Speed Women’s Champion.
The win marks Henley’s third championship reign in NXT, having previously been NXT Women’s North American Champion in from October 2024 to February 2025.
She also held the now defunct NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with Kiana James back in early 2023.
