WWE star Veer Mahaan has taken to Twitter to wish WWE fans worldwide a Happy Diwali!
Posting a video to Twitter and tagging WWE India, the star who has recently been featured on NXT, wished fans well and reminded them of the spirit of the day.
During the media call in advance of NXT’s premium live event, Halloween Havoc, Shawn Michaels spoke about hoping to avoid wrestling tropes with Mahaan.
Mahaan has recently been appearing on NXT alongside former tag team partner Sanga and have participated in matches at NXT live events billed under their former name, Indus Scher.
Michaels saying in part:
“They are both such clean, classy, sharp, really nice guys. We wanted to present them that way. They’re really classy and we thought, ‘let’s do that and present them as who they are.’
“I’m not going to give you the whole skinny on what we’re doing, but I think we have something pretty cool and fun, but we wanted it to come in the package that it currently is, which is who they are.”
With a broad social media presence given his pre-WWE fame in addition to his stunning style, it should be fun to see where Veer Mahaan is headed next!
While Diwali may not occur until tomorrow, Monday October 24, we’ll say early: Happy Diwali!
