WWE NXT star Veer has paid tribute to his late father following his passing.
Rinku Singh, better known as WWE’s Veer Mahaan, shared the devastating news that his father passed away on Wednesday, January 11.
Singh wrote in an Instagram post that his “soul shook” hearing the news that his father died. Veer’s father is survived by nine children. Veer wrote the following:
“Cherished Babu ji, whatever I am today, I am because of your and Mother’s teachings, along with watching you both overcome great adversity.”
“If I can ask one thing as I’ve always have is your blessing and strength, with the memory of You and Mother, I will try to follow your footsteps till the last breath.”
“This is the most amazing man I have ever known. He would give his world for someone’s happiness, is sweet, kind and is my guiding light. I am very fortunate he is my Father and grateful for every minute I can spend with him.”
The loss in his family explains why Veer was absent from this past Tuesday’s New Year’s Evil special of WWE NXT where he and Sanga of Indus Sher were scheduled to face the Creed Brothers.
We here at WrestleTalk would like to send our thoughts and prayers to Veer and his family.
