Vic Joseph Provides Reasoning Behind ‘Candy Stash’ Spotted By Fans At NXT WWE

NXT commentator Vic Joseph has provided eagle-eyed fans a justified reason behind his abundant candy stash that was seen on this week’s NXT (June 20).

During the World Heavyweight Championship main event between Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Bron Breakker there was a spot where Rollins cleared the announce desk to set the challenger up for a frog splash through the table.

Whilst doing so Rollins, spilled a ton of candy to the floor, something that was noticed and questioned by fans, with Joesph providing a very understandable reason as to why.

Taking to Twitter, Joseph wrote:

LOT of questions about my candy stash at the #WWENXT desk – @WWEGraves can confirm – I almost passed out calling an event – Graves had to wave down someone to bring me food – from that moment I always had candy at the desk – it will be refilled for #NXTGoldRush next week!!

This then led to Graves to confirm Joseph’s story tweeting:

Can confirm.

Whilst Joseph’s candy collection was spilled, it was ultimately for a good cause as Rollins would go on to successfully defend his title against Breakker following two curb-stomps.

However, despite the victory, Rollins was later ambushed by his Money in the Bank challenger Finn Balor, who fought off security to assault the already hurt champion with a steel chair.

Thankfully for Rollins, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams intervened to prevent further harm, allowing for the visionary to deliver a post-show promo to the audience at the WWE Performance Center.
