VIDEO: Cody Rhodes Calls Out Roman Reigns At WWE Event

With WWE swiftly diverting Cody Rhodes away from Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and towards Brock Lesnar, it seems that fans will have to wait a while for the next Rhodes vs Reigns encounter.

Despite this, Cody has made sure to keep the end goal of a rematch with Reigns fresh in everyone’s minds, calling out the Tribal Chief at a recent WWE live event in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

As captured by a fan in attendance and uploaded to Twitter, Rhodes argued that Reigns is ducking him, before also calling out his current rival Brock Lesnar.

Rhodes said:

“My theory is that the reason that Roman Reigns didn’t want to be here is because he is afraid of me. And that theory also extends to my opponent at the Night of Champions, Brock Lesnar.

“I’ll make you a promise. The next time I come back here, my promise is this. I hope to have defeated Brock Lesnar not just once but twice. And I also hope that I’ll be wearing some gold around my waist. Thank you, guys, very much.”

Already holding one victory over Lesnar, Cody heads towards Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to take on The Beast at Night of Champions on May 27.
