VIDEO: First Look At CM Punk’s Entrance In AEW Fight Forever AEW

UPDATE: A new report has revealed CM Punk and AEW have had another falling out, hence why Punk was removed from promotional material for Collision – read more at this link.

Following a new report from Fightful Select (subscription required) that suggested that the long awaited AEW Fight Forever video game could be close to a release, we now have our first look at the entrance for the game’s former cover star CM Punk.

Following numerous fans reporting that the game was now available to pre-load on Xbox, there have also been numerous other leaks including the full achievement list as well as a better look at before unseen character models and entrances.

Amongst the photos and clips being shared was that of CM Punk, who’s character model had previously been seen in leaked gameplay footage last year, however, this is the first look at Punk’s entrance for the game.

Whilst there were doubts surrounding Punk’s status for the game following his backstage altercation with The Elite at All Out in September as well as his removal from the cover of Fight Forever.

However, Punk was always listed on the game’s roster, with AEW confirming to Sportskeeda in late 2022 that anyone featured in promotional material for the game would not be removed from it.

Given fans’ ability to pre-load the game, the release date should seemingly not be too far away, with developer Yuke’s telling Fightful that an announcement should be expected “sooner than later”.

Despite some fans’ reactions to the leaks criticising the games visuals, according to Fightful Select’s report the gameplay resembles classic wrestling games from the nineties, most notably being compared to N64 fan-favorite WWF No Mercy.

Footage of CM Punk’s entrance from Fight Forever can be seen below.
