The three hour Jay Briscoe Celebration of Life tribute show is now available to watch online for free.
Following the passing of Jamin Pugh, better known to wrestling fans as Jay Briscoe, matches for a tribute event were taped following the January 18 Dynamite taping.
AEW announced the premiere of the tribute show at 8am ET, with the show available on the ROH YouTube channel and HonorClub free of charge.
The event, headlined by a singles bout between Claudio Castagnoli and Christopher Daniels, features matches from the recent taping, highlights from Jay Briscoes’s career, and messages from those close to the former ROH star.
Jay’s brother Mark Briscoe was able to pay tribute to Jay on the January 25 edition of Dynamite, defeating Jay Lethal in the main event of the show with the Jay Driller.
The Briscoes were previously banned from appearing on Dynamite due to an edict from Warner Bros Discovery, which has since been redacted by the company.
AEW aired an emotional video package to honor Jay Briscoe earlier on in the night, which you can see here.
Our thoughts continue to be with Jamin Pugh’s family, friends, and all those affected by his passing, and we send our best wishes to his daughters as they recover.
