Viewership For August 13 SmackDown Revealed

The final viewership figures for the August 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX have been revealed.

As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the final viewership number for last week’s show was 2.084 million viewers. This is down from the previous week, with the August 6 show’s final viewership coming in at 2.169 million viewers.

In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s episode received a 0.58 rating, representing 746,000 viewers from within the demo. This was also down compared to the August 6 show’s 0.61 rating (792,000 viewers).

These numbers are dramatically different to the August 13 episode’s reported overnight viewership figure of 2.49 million overnight viewers.

On the show, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair met in the ring for a contract signing, ahead of their SmackDown Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam.

There is reportedly concern that both wrestlers will not compete this Saturday, after both missed recent live events for “unforeseen circumstances”.

Also on SmackDown, John Cena and Roman Reigns had an interesting war of words, referencing CM Punk and AEW’s Jon Moxley. It’s being reported that Vince McMahon loved this unscripted segment.
