Viewership For August 27 SmackDown Revealed

The final viewership figures for the August 27 episode of SmackDown, following SummerSlam, have been revealed.

As per Wrestlenomics, last week’s edition of SmackDown drew an average of 2.250 million viewers. This is slightly up from the 2.102 million viewers who tuned in on August 20.

In the 18-49 demographic, the August 27 show received a 0.59 rating, equating to approximately 764,000 viewers. The previous week’s show had earned a 0.57 rating in the same demo.

The August 27 show saw Becky Lynch return to the brand, following her SmackDown Women’s Championship win at SummerSlam. Lynch refused to face Bianca Belair in a title rematch, but later in the show, Belair earned #1 contendership to Lynch’s gold.

Lynch vs Belair is being advertised by the Nationwide Arena for Extreme Rules on September 26.

Also on the show, Finn Balor confronted Roman Reigns, demanding a Universal Championship match. Balor will challenge Reigns for the gold this Friday.
