The viewership numbers are in for night two of both AEW Fyter Fest and the NXT Great American Bash which took place last night.
As per Showbuzz Daily, for the third week in a row, NXT came out with more overall viewers, with 759,000. Despite beating Fyter Fest this week, that is a decrease from last week’s 792,000.
This week’s AEW show drew 715,000 viewers, which is down from last week’s 748,000.
However, as per usual, AEW did rank higher in the key 18-49 demographic. The reason this is touted as being so important is because it’s the stat TV advertisers use, because people aged 18-49 are most likely to buy the products that are being advertised.
AEW drew a 0.28 rating in 18-49, which ranked in at #6 for the night, compared to NXT’s 0.20, which ranked #24.
Next week’s AEW is being promoted as the ‘Fight for the Fallen’ and features A World Championship match and a TNT Championship match, whereas NXT will feature a Women’s Championship match.
