Viewership Revealed For AEW Blood & Guts

There was a lot of speculation about the viewership for this week’s AEW Dynamite. With weeks of build for Blood & Guts, people were expecting a very high turnout.

Now, Showbuzz Daily has reported the viewership figures for the show. The show garnered 1.09 million average viewers. This was up pretty significantly from last week’s average of 889,000 viewers. However, it is still the second-lowest viewership the show has had since NXT moved to Tuesdays.

Showbuzz Daily also reported the ratings for the 18-49 key male demographic. For this week’s show, AEW managed to get an 0.58 rating.

Dynamite was also the number one show on cable for the night. This marks the first time the show has ever accomplished the feat.

The main point of interest on this show was the titular main event. The Blood & Guts match took up much of the second hour with The Pinnacle ultimately coming out on top. They managed to win the match by forcing Sammy Guevara to surrender in an attempt to save Chris Jericho from being thrown off the cage. In the end, MJF threw Jericho off anyway.

The show also named new number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. SCU came out on top of a four-way match and will challenge the Young Bucks for the titles next week.
