The viewership numbers for night one of both AEW Fyter Fest and NXT Great American Bash have now been officially revealed.
As per Showbuzz Daily, NXT drew more overall viewers than AEW for the second straight week, with 792,000 compared to AEW’s 748,000.
Both of those numbers are up from last week’s 786,000 for NXT and 633,000 for AEW.
AEW came in at #6 for the night in the key 18-49 demo, with NXT at #13.
It was also back to the usual story with AEW winning in every demo other than 50+.
It’ll be interesting to see how next week plays out now that AEW has had to postpone its World Championship match until July 15, and NXT has its ‘Winner Takes All’ next week, although the result of the latter seems to have been accidentally spoiled.
