Vince McMahon was furious after hearing that the Undertaker had accepted a booking for Starrcast, the Wrestling Observer Reports.
Starrcast is a four day wrestling convention taking place in Las Vegas from May 23 – 26 in tandem with AEW’s debut Double or Nothing show.
It was confirmed that the Undertaker, who is reportedly earning up to $60,000 for every appearance, would be taking part.
Dave Meltzer spoke about the issue on Wrestling Observer Radio, and reported that Vince is much angrier about the situation that first anticipated. The Undertaker is someone that Vince has relied on for so long that the idea that he would agree to appear at an event so closely involved with one of WWE’s rivals is hard for him to stomach.

We reported yesterday that WWE had once again approached ‘Taker with the goal of securing his services for WrestleMania this year, but it’s looking increasingly likely that the Deadman is done with in-ring appearances.
It’s unlikely to sway Vince McMahon from wanting to book ‘Taker forever, but it has apparently been a huge concern for Vince that someone like The Undertaker would do this.
