It has become a recurring theme that Vince McMahon makes major creative changes to Raw on Mondays. This has taken place for at least a decade and this week is no exception.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has reported that McMahon arrived at today’s creative meeting significantly late. This was followed by McMahon making changes to tonight’s show. The changes themselves were not included in the report.
However, it was noted that the Randy Orton vs. Braun Strowman match, which was initially advertised for tonight’s show, is no longer included in the preview for the show.
This match stemmed from last week’s main event, where Orton and Strowman both competed to become number one contender to the WWE Championship. They both failed as Drew McIntyre won the Triple Threat match.
No word has been given as to why the singles match has seemingly been dropped from tonight’s show. However, we will continue to provide updates on the situation as more information becomes available.
