Vince McMahon Asked New Day To Stop Throwing Pancakes At Corey Graves

During an appearance on the After The Bell podcast a few weeks ago, Big E opened up about how Vince McMahon specifically telling New Day to stop throwing pancakes at SmackDown commentator Corey Graves.

Part of the New Day’s act has been throwing items (normally pancakes) at Graves before their matches and segments. Big E noted that this once got New Day in some hot water with Vince McMahon, courtesy of Fightful.

“I think it was pancakes and it may have been an on-cam and I disrupted it. He Who Shall Not Be Named [Vince McMahon] he asked us to stop throwing things at you. It’s one of those things where, if I’m told not to do something, I’ll stop and then I’ll wait a month because he usually forgets and then I’ll start doing it again and if he doesn’t say anything, I’ll keep doing it.”

Corey Graves went on to explain during the podcast show that he’d actually been knocked out of his commentary chair after being hit with Big E’s jacket, which he described as being rather heavy.

Speaking of After The Bell, a current WWE star has claimed that his interview on the show was “heavily edited” as it was “too much” for management to deal with. You can read more about that story by clicking here.
