During his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Vince McMahon revealed the reason he still works out as much as he does.
McMahon told McAfee that he works out pretty much everyday. The WWE Chairman admitted that he’s guilty of overtraining, mainly because he uses the gym as an outlet for his aggression.
When asked what time he usually starts training, McMahon said:
“On a good day, like 1:30(am). Maybe a little bit more than that, depends how much time I can actually spend in the gym because sometimes I have to force myself to get out. I’ve always overtrained, which is not good for you, it’s just that I… it’s my only socially acceptable outlet for aggression.
“I do this for my head more than I do my body. It’s good for you, I love that – I take care of me as best I possibly can. Try to eat the right things and all that. But it really helps me more mentally and psychologically, so that I can handle the workload and handle all the stuff that comes my way.
“A lot of it’s emotional, because you’re doing business with… people. And people are people. They all have problems, they all have ambitions, and dealing with all of that can be a little challenging sometimes. It (working out) helps me deal with that.”
