The broadcast date for the upcoming ‘The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon’ documentary on VICE has changed, according to reports.
Writing about the broadcast change in his latest daily update, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer stated:
“The VICE schedule on 10/18 lists other programming from 8-10 p.m., repeats of the first two episodes of Tales from the Territories that have already aired in that time slot. That night was the original date for “The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon documentary.”
Exploring the need to change the date, Meltzer further added:
“We don’t have a new scheduled date but since both AEW & NXT are going live from 8-10 p.m. head-to-head, it’s a good date to avoid doing a wrestling documentary. I would expect it to air on a Tuesday before the Territories show, but waiting to find out the week.”
The two-hour documentary was made without the involvement of WWE and will explore the numerous scandals of Vince McMahon in the wake of his fall from grace over “hush money” payments.
