Well it sounds like the WWE creative team had a jolly time backstage at WWE Raw last night with Vince McMahon on the warpath.
According to PWInsider, sources within the creative team described it as “one of the longest days in a long time” for the team.
McMahon was reportedly “extremely unhappy” about the original plans for the show and tore up the script and the initial rewrite.
He then began requesting new ideas, some of which were good and some of which were bad, but rejected everything that was pitched to him.
He then “decreed” the plans for the show himself. It was said that there was “no direction” decided on for the show as of two hours before it began.
One source that went through the process told PWInsider it was the “loudest and angriest” they’d ever seen Vince McMahon on the day of a show.
