It’s being reported that Vince McMahon came out from backstage during recent WWE TV tapings to personally produce a segment himself.
Ringside News, which does have questionable track record but has been more accurate with its reports recently, is reporting that this happened during a SmackDown taping and a segment with Jeff Hardy and Sheamus.
It was noted that there weren’t necessarily any ‘problems’ with the segment, but the process of producing it was taking a “long, long time” so Vince McMahon decided to come out from his usual spot backstage and do it himself.
The report adds that the segment is one that hasn’t aired yet so it’s likely we’ll see it play out on this coming Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Sheamus and Hardy are set for a match at this Sunday’s Backlash pay-per-view. The issue has been simmering in the background for quite a while, pretty much since WrestleMania, but escalated recently.
Hardy was seemingly ambushed by Sheamus, who then ran over Elias in his car, but made it look like it was Hardy to call back to his past issues, which a number of fans have questioned whether or not that was in good taste. The segment did also write Elias off TV has he legitimately tore his pectoral muscle recently.
