Update On Rumors Vince McMahon Changed Bloodline Creative Plans WWE

Did the return of Vince McMahon to WWE cause changes to the upcoming Raw 30 segment featuring the Bloodline and Sami Zayn?

According to the Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer daily update, those rumors are not accurate.

While there were several rumors floating about when the change from an Acknowledgement Ceremony for Roman Reigns featuring ‘Every generation of the Bloodline’ to instead what is being billed as ‘The Trial of Sami Zayn,’ two were pervasive.

Were there changes made because The Rock pulled out or did Vince McMahon have influence over the story?

According to Meltzer, neither are true!

The Rock was never booked to appear on the show so there was no instance of pulling out noted, rather some more logical issues.

With the creative plan initially being Afa, Sika and Rikishi all being in attendance, after Rikishi fell ill and Afa & Sika reportedly “not ready for the trip”, the plan was scrapped.

So consider the rumor killed: Vince McMahon actually is not to be blamed for the change in the advertised segment featuring the Bloodline for Raw 30.

Instead the segment is being billed as the Trial of Sami Zayn and is set to feature on the already very stacked Raw 30 card.

Elsewhere on the show, Becky Lynch and Bayley are set to go to war inside a steel cage as well as appearances by many WWE legends including the returns of the Undertaker, Ric Flair and even Hulk Hogan.
