Back in April and again in June during #SpeakingOut, several serious allegations were made against NXT star Velveteen Dream. Following these accusations, Dream was removed from WWE TV after TakeOver: In Your House.
It was actually reported several months ago that Velveteen Dream was going to be fired by WWE. This made it even more surprising when the former North American Champion returned to NXT on last week’s show.
Many fans were rather unhappy to see Dream back following these serious allegations. The unhappiness was added to when one of Dream’s accusers came spoke out following his return. You can read more about that by clicking here.
Following this return, it has been reported that there has been some serious backstage heat on Velveteen Dream for quite some time due to reported behavioural problems.
While Dream may have heat with his fellow NXT stars, it appears as if he doesn’t have heat with management, as Dave Meltzer has revealed how Vince McMahon feels about the former Tough Enough star:
“The thing with Vince is from Vince’s perspective he’s gonna not fire somebody over an accusation. He’s gonna have to find evidence of something before he will do so. So, I would have figured that yeah you’re gonna keep him off [TV], but yeah you’re gonna do an investigation to find out if it’s true. In this one it’s interesting because it’s like it doesn’t appear that they did that like even look into it which is it is what it is, you know.”
